Decode

This weekend we visited the V&A to experience the Decode: Digital Design Sensations show which is in collaboration with onedotzero. Inspired by Jimmy Tilley’s article on Design Assembly we wanted to check it out for ourselves.
Decode looks at three current themes within digital design. Code shows how computer code – whether bespoke and tailored, or hacked and shared – has become a new design tool. Interactivity presents works that respond to our physical presence. Network charts or reworks the traces we leave behind.
Although smaller than expected a number of the exhibits truly engaged us. Here are a few snaps of our favourites. The plus points were the exhibition graphics and the free guide that came with the ticket, designed by the peeps at Hawaii.
Despite being disappointed that a number of the exhibits were out of operation [V&A take note!] it was still worth a quick visit. Showing until 11 April.
